Here's the scoop... As you all know, in November of 2000 the Backstreet Boys did a HUGE promo tour for the release of their fourth album: Black & Blue. During this promo tour the boys flew around the world in 100 hours with stops for interviews and performances in all the continents! The Black & Blue album remains at the numer one spot on the Billboard album chart for the second week running, and sails pass the 2 million mark in the USA! This makes the album Double Platinum in the US.
On December 11, the UK's biggest pop magazine announced it's yearly winners in the "Smashhits Poll Winners Party", a huge live pop event held in London. The winners are all voted for by the readers. Unfortunately the BSB didn't get any first price, but they did end up in several first five spots! Congratulations boys, especially to Nick!! The new Black&Blue C.D. is now out! It is doing amazing on the charts! Guess what, it was announced that the next single will be "The Call" The video is expected to be ready in late January 2001. The time has come once again!! The new Backstreet Boys C.D. will be out on November 21!! It will be called "Black and Blue" But guess what, on October 3rd, you'll be able to hear the new single "Shape of my Heart" on radios! I hope everyone's very excited for this next, surely going to be awesome, BSB album. |
